The Horse Flies Are An Iridescent Green

The Mountain Goats are in LA tonight. I expect it to be the first of many animals with suicidal pride concerts for me. Huge thanks to Wiley for the introduction.

Some Day We Won't Remember This

I had a dream last night in which singing a particular song underwater in a particular muddy lake would give me a particularly exciting reward. I didn't know what the reward might be, but I sang. And I suddenly found myself face to face with my smiling granny. I hadn't talked to her in a long time.

And I don't remember what song I sang. Pretty sure it wasn't this one. Though I might give it a try if I ever find that lake again.

Damn These Vampires will be track 1 on All Eternals Deck.

The Old Beijing Roommates

Extraordinary talents, these two.

Cheers

One, last I heard, was racing planes in Reno.

The other just launched a totally awesome iPhone app. It features a panda in a bib. And makes it possible for anyone, regardless of language skills, to navigate Chinese menus and restaurant interactions like a pro.

Here's a song one of them recorded a few months ago. Anyone want to guess which one?

Unlikeliness

They call this guy The Mountain Goats.

One musician.  Plural band name.

Eels do that too.

World Party is mostly a one man show as well, but I guess "World Party" doesn't really imply plurality.  Or singularity.  Hmmm.

Anyway, the big question, I think, is whether this is an I will never love you again song.
